Screened Tank Overflow Kits and Inline Overflow Fittings

Previously known as Byelaw 30 Fittings, Screened Overflows kits comprise of a Screened Overflow fittings also known as rodent screens, a Screened tank vent and on the larger kits, a screened warning pipe, The screened mesh inside the overflows are made from 316 grade stainless steel and are WRAS approved.

Potable Water Storage tanks should have Screened Overflows to comply to regulations to prevent insects etc. from climbing into the tanks and contaminating the supply.

The size of the overflow on a water tank should also be at least twice the inlet size on the tank, this is due to the Inlet flow rate being greater as it is under pressure from the mains and the overflow's flow rate would only be gravity feed.

Inline Screened Overflow Kits (Can also be used as End of Line)

The Inline Overflow fitting is designed to be fitted inline into a existing overflow pipeline, the area of the pipe is cut away allowing the fitting to take its place ensuring the tank complies with regulations,

The PP Inline Overflows are pushfit with compressive rubber washer and backnut, and are easily removed for maintenance.

The PVC/ABS Inline Overflows have an easy access top entry cap allowing the fitting to be maintained and the screen to be cleaned as required.

Options are now available for overflows to be supplied with Stub Flanges or Rubber seals on the ends of the pipe connections for easier installation.
