Insulated Break Tank
What is an Insulated Break Tank?
A water tank system that incorporates an air gap in a tank to prevent (Backflow) water from backing into and contaminating the mains water supply.
Break tanks are also used if the mains supply is unable to deliver enough water during peak demand through to the system.
Break tanks are installed when the mains supply is insufficient and require a pump to boost the pressure.
you are not allowed to install a booster sets or other pumps directly onto an incoming mains supply, Therefore a Break tank is necessity in all booster pump installments.
Our Break Tanks are WRAS Approved and manufactured to BS EN 13280:2001 (BS 7491) Standards
